The fourth semester of industrial design deals with the development of new, radical design processes in context of a 5-year horizon. The aim is to question current consumption and production conventions and to demonstrate new possibilities for a prosperous society with convincingly designed products, processes and services.

The focus is on design-based strategies that enable sustainable and high-quality consumption and are intended to achieve global relevance through local successes.

The learning objectives are to acquire basic knowledge in material sciences, digital production, physical prototyping, storytelling and strategic individual positioning in the design context.
